A variation on the ever-popular tamari almonds- crunchy, salty bites that are great for topping soups, salads, Buddha bowls, or for adding to your trailmix. These are so simple and quick to make on your own! Try experimenting with different nuts or seeds!
Tamari Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds (or pepitas)
2 tsp low sodium tamari
A few grinds of black peppers
1) Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2) Place pumpkin seeds into a small bowl, add tamari and black pepper and stir to combine. Let sit for a few minutes (while the oven preheats).
3) Lay out in a single layer on a lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, stir them around, and return to oven for an additional 3 minutes. Watch closely so they don’t burn. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
